Louis has a great answer below. In addition, we have a document with pictures but here are the quick steps. 1.From the BI Tools tab, click More. 2. Select Hide Zero Rows. Select the range to perform the operation on and the column that contains the value to check for zeros. 3.Click OK. The rows within the Row Range that have a zero value in the column specified in the Column with Values box will be hidden. Then, To unhide hidden rows in a range: 1. Use Microsoft Excels standard Unhide function. To do this, select the row range that includes the hidden rows to unhide then right-click and select Unhide.

Follow my steps outlined above, that solves it. Or copy the UNI databases from the old server to the new server.

Forum Post: GL account number changer
A customer who migrated from PRO with a 5-3 (Acct-Dept) structure, wants to go to a single segment (Acct) for balance sheet accounts. It looks as though the GL account changer will do this. I plan to test it out but are there any known gotcha's on this?

Forum Post: Reinstate cleared AR paid transactions
I have a client who has lost a significant number of historical AR Fully paid transactions without explanation . We suspect someone cleared history, but the client can't see how this was possible. In any case, it would appear that only AR was affected and only paid AR transactions are missing from a specific date . I'm wondering if anyone has reverse engineered the clear history for paid AR transactions? We have a backup that can be used to reinstate the data, but obviously would rather not mess with live data and cause corruption. The client is on Sage 300 ERP 2012 and MS-SQL 2012. Any discussion on this subject is invited. Thanks.

Forum Post: problem running custom crystal report linked to ACCPAC + non-ACCPAC databases
I have a colleague that is getting an error message when running certain custom Crystal reports from within ACCPAC. Apparently these all used to work before going from version 6.0 to 6.1. here is the error: What is baffling me is how these reports ever worked in the first place. These reports are pulling data from an ACCPAC database and another non-ACCPAC database. In my experience I have never been able to make these kind of reports work and I thought it was impossible. But I know this person isn't lying to me and they used to work. The exact symptoms are that when they run the report they get the parameter window asking for input and after that they get the error message. So obviously it can't find the non-ACCPAC table (ie. GLAFS_EndBals). Anyone have any idea how this used to work but now it doesn't?

Blog Post: Selecting Your Server Setup: Sage CRM and Sage 300 ERP Integration
When integrating Sage CRM with Sage 300 ERP, you have a few options. One key choice is deciding to go with a single server, meaning both Sage 300 ERP and Sage CRM will share a server, or separate servers, meaning Sage 300 ERP and Sage CRM will run off different servers. In this article, we explain who should consider a two-server setup and why. Benefits of Separate Server Integration Right off the bat, if you have more than 300 users, a separate server setup is needed. We also recommend a 2 server setup if you have a very large database that’s eating up memory. Here’s why: Load balancing : This configuration ensures that your server is not overworked by distributing loads across both servers as needed. Scalability : If your company is growing, you’re bound to need separate server integration at some point. Setting this up from the get-go will save you time in the future. Performance : The integrated system will run more smoothly on separate servers and the added memory will be a huge help if you have a lot of stored data. Remember, a small business can also benefit from the above, especially a company that’s very busy or anticipates hitting the 300 user mark in the near future. Alternatively, choosing to integrate on a single server first can make it more challenging to move to a 2 server setup. When switching over from a pre-existing single server integration, ensure your Business Partner is involved to help you avoid missteps. NOTE: The two-server setup is not a failover procedure. For that, you would require a mirroring service. Your IT team can decide how they want to set that up. Moving Forward with 2 Server Setup Connect with your Business Partne if a 2 server setup is right for your company. Your Business Partner can help you generate a test environment, as you never want to go direct to live. If you’re already running CRM on 2 servers, both should be properly tested to ensure the integration will be successful when you go live. Our gl account number structure is AA-###-#####.#####.
